FCA Online Academy
Home educating families in the 21st century now have the benefit of online education. FCA provides a complete Online Academy for 3rd - 12th grade students.
Family Christian Academy provides everything you need to give your child a quality Christian education online! This program is innovative, interactive and individualized. It provides your student with a state-of-the-art, multimedia-rich, interactive learning experience.
To meet the needs of each individual, we have to meet them where they are, which requires flexibility and structure. FCA Online provides both!
Within the curriculum, there is a structured flow and focus, but there is also plenty of room for individualization.
To begin this program, students are given a placement test. Courses are highly individualized and tailored to the student’s needs. Advanced Placement courses are available.
FCA’s Online students receive daily assignments from their online teacher. After mastering assignments, students are tested on the material.
Most lessons, quizzes and tests are graded automatically.
We will provide your student with a Christ-centered, college-prep education!
Parents simply check the student’s online home page to determine if lessons have been completed, and to view grades and progress.

STEP 1: APPLY FOR ENROLLMENT
Complete an application and submit proper fees. FCA will request records from your child’s previous school. Familiarize yourself with FCA’s Policies and Procedures.
STEP 2: SCHEDULE PLACEMENT TESTING
Students are placed in subject levels that are customized for their individual level of learning.

Pricing
With Teacher Support
Most of our Online curriculum is graded and maintained automatically. Some tasks, however, still require manual attention.
With our Online Academy Teacher Support plan, tutors from FCA will do all the extra work for you!
We will:
Directly respond to all student requests for help through the built-in messaging system
Grade essay and reports
Notify you if student gets too far behind, or if we suspect academic dishonesty
Provide an official FCA report card after each quarter
Response time is usually 24 hours or less

Auto-draft: Families will be charged a fee of $15 for every scheduled auto-draft.
Without Teacher Support
The parent will receive their own teacher login and will be responsible for keeping track of student progress, attendance, manually grading essays and reports daily, and submitting grades to our office twice a year (see our policies for more info). Parents may upgrade to the Teacher Support plan at any time.
