We are a Church Related School that helps parents educate their children at home. Our program is based on research and experience that results in creativity for parents and a love of learning for children. 

Several Programs:
We have four easy plans to choose from: One for returning home schoolers; one for first time enrollee's; and one for those who are not on a college path and wish to graduate at 17, our fourth option is school on line. We also have full web service.

Curriculum Discounts
All Family Christian Academy Registrants receive a 10% discount at our Online Bookstore, which includes orders through our mail order department. FCA members pay no sales tax. FCA carries the current, most popular curriculum and educational materials. Our bookstore is located in Madison, Tennessee.

Newsletter
Periodically, FCA's newsletter is published on-line. Some of the issues addressed include teaching tips, motivation, and announcements. There is no charge for Family Christian Academy members. 

Teacher and Student Cards
Upon acceptance, you and your child will be able to immediately print your own teacher/ student cards identifying you as the primary teacher and your child as a student with FCA. Your card is also used for discounts, seminar entrance, and testing information. 

Educational Video Library
FCA offers an Educational Video Library for all B, C and D Plan members at no cost (except postage). We have an extensive selection of Christian titles that are used as educational and entertainment tools for the entire family.

Teacher Training Workshops
Throughout the year Family Christian Academy schedules speakers, when available,  who enhance your teaching with their presentations. These speakers are scheduled to speak at major cities in Tennessee. Family Christian Academy members have free entry. Workshops such as: Preparation for Achievement Testing, Math Manipulatives, Phonics, Algebra, Unit Studies, Learning Styles, Learning Disabilities, Creative Writing, Child Training, Quilting, Basket Weaving, Bread Baking, Courtship vs. Dating, The Homebuilders Program, and many more.

Guest Speakers and Events
Depending on their availability, FCA provides workshops and events by well known  home school speakers.
 

Annual Home School Camp Out
Join the fellowship and fun each summer by attending FCA's annual Camp at various state parks throughout Tennessee. Participate in all the fun activities with other home school families such as: boating, fishing, softball, volleyball, hiking and more. Various speakers and workshops are presented as well. 

Local Support Group
FCA support groups are active in certain areas. If there is no FCA support group in your area we encourage you to consider starting one or joining a local support group. Support groups generally share various parent/student talents and arrange for group field trips, etc. 

Graduation
Family Christian Academy's commencement exercises for seniors, eighth graders and kindergartners have been held each year at the Opryland's Grand Ole Opry in June.

Sports
In the fall, our members will be able to get involved in our bowling, football, basketball, golf, cheerleading and Chess league, along with several other sports programs we are currently developing.
