K, 8th & Senior Graduation Letters

Graduates (or their parents) are asked to submit a letter to FCA giving us information about the graduate. These words will be read to the audience as the graduate walks across the stage to receive their diploma. This is the one of the rare times in a child’s life you are being asked to publicly brag on your child’s accomplishments.

Some of the following questions may help jog your memory as you consider what to have read: “John has enjoyed being involved in...[sport, academic specialty, etc]”; “After graduation, John looks forward to [attending college, working with a company, joining the military]”; “The Bible verse that has directed John’s life is...[or quote]”. Please limit these letters to 50 words or less, and write them in third person as they will be read by the Master of Ceremonies.

Kindergarten graduates generally tell us what their favorite subject is, what they most like about being home educated, etc. End each letter with their long-term dreams. (ie. “John hopes to eventually become an astronaut”).
