Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement means that a student is placed in higher grade level coursework than their typical course of study. AP is available to students who demonstrate that they should not be required to study materials they already know. If parents of an FCA student would like their student to either skip a single subject, take an individual higher-level course, or skip an entire grade, the student must first prove his/her ability to handle higher level course work by taking a Placement or Achievement Test. If the student shows proficiency of this kind, FCA will agree to advance the student accordingly.

Students not yet in high school may take high school course work and earn high school credits. The student should first take a placement or achievement test to determine the student’s mastery of course work already done.
