Nashville Zoo
Get ready for a totally wild experience at the Nashville Zoo. FCA
students in grades Pre-K through 5th will enjoy visiting the wild
outdoor animals, an incredible selection of indoor reptile and ampibian
exhibits and play on the Jungle Gym.
Departing from FCA at 9:15am, returning to FCA at 2:30pm. Students will
need to bring a sack lunch with all disposable items. Deadline to sign
up is 9/27/10. There will be a $5 charge if you sign up after this date.
Cost $10 - per student with

Praise Dance Classes
Start Oct. 1st

At FCA the goals of Praise Dancing are completely different from those
of secular dancing. The focus of Praise Dance is not entertain an
audience, but to perform solely for God's glory and majesty. In order to
participate, you do not have to fit into a certain age, size or ability
group. You must be willing to dance for the purpose of praising God.
Please sign up at the front office. Classes are held on Fridays from
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm. The cost is $40 per month, which can be added to
tuition bank draft or you may prepay in advance for the eight-month
course. The dance instructor is Ms. Rebekah Gregory; you may contact her

Notice to On-Campus Fine Arts
Students in Grades 6-12
Students in 6th-12th
grade are invited and encouraged to attend the school's Fall Creek Falls
Camping Trip, which is a 3-day event. Regularly scheduled classes will
be cancelled for all 6th-12th grade students on Friday, September 24th.

Picture Day Make-up &
Group Pictures
Individual pictures were made on Friday, Sept. 17th. If
you were out sick or unable to attend, be sure to show up for
our Picture Make-Up Day. We will also be taking group pictures on this
day. Both the individual and group pictures will be used for the school
yearbook!
Did you forget to pre-pay for your picture package? If so, you still
have time to submit your form, make your package selections and turn in
to the front desk!

Why: As you know, our school depends heavily on
fundraisers to offset the rising cost of
education and to be able to provide items for the classrooms. Our main
goal for the funds we raise this year are
to provide the music equipment, offset fieldtrip costs, aid with
building fund, etc.
What: The ENJOY THE CITY coupon book offers savings
on a variety of food, entertainment and
services most people use. In today's economy, these incredible savings
will be appreciated (savings well over $
4,000!). We offer it for only $2O, and Family Christian Academy earns
50% of the profit or $10 for every book.

HOW TO TIPS::
1) Show the book to your friends, neighbors, relatives, and co-workers.
Open the book and ask them to look through it.

2) Tell them this is a fundraiser that will help Family Christian
Academy.
3) Ask if they will order one. If so, print their name, phone, etc. on
the order form and collect payment. (Make
checks payable to Family Christian Academy).
4) Tell them you can deliver their order quickly. We have the books in
stock.
5) All orders must be turned in by October 5, 2O1O to the school.
