Online Academy Services Family Christian's Online Academy (FCOA) uses the Switched-On Schoolhouse® multimedia curriculum along with the Enhanced Student Service to provide a fully interactive learning experience. Switched-On Schoolhouse's 3rd through 12th grade curriculum uses the latest in computer technology to guide students into concentrated study. Highly motivating and challenging, this program offers a wide variety of interactive problems to keep your student actively involved in learning. The content is thoroughly taught and reinforced with the "mastering learning" system. The Enhanced Student Service (ESS) provides support for the parent and student. The student can be assigned to a specific class supervised by a qualified FCOA teacher. The student also has access to that teacher by email. Parents who are unfamiliar with distance learning or have doubts about teaching a particular subject find the ESS service very valuable.
