Homeschooled Children Will Become Too Dependent Upon Parents That's one myth I have occasionally wished our skeptical friends had been right about. However, they were wrong and in due season our children have all grown up and have become happy to leave home and launch out on their own. I do admit that our children did appear a little shy at times; especially so when we compared them to other children. I suppose it was partially due to the fact that we had the firm conviction that girls should act like ladies and that boys should be gentlemen. Regardless, none of our children suffer from shyness now that they have grown-up. |
