High School Credits:

    The following information provides the subject area, the grade level in which it is commonly taken, and the credit value given to each of our high school level courses. This information facilitates in the planning for a student's graduation. For more information on graduation from the Family Christian Academy,see our graduation requirements.

At FCA we use a Carnage unit of measure for credit calculation.  In order for a child to earn one credit, they must do 180 days worth of 50 minute "hours."  [180 days X 50 minutes = 150 hours of work = 1 credit]  For this reason, students normally earn 6-8 credits for the entire year.
